Licensing¶

Commercial licence¶

Using HelixIAM requires a commercial licence from KubeDNA B.V. The licence covers the server, the admin console, the Helm chart, the Terraform provider and the other release files, and sets out where and how you may run them.

What licensed customers receive¶

Registry credentials for the signed container images (helix-iam-server and helix-dashboard) and the OCI Helm chart.
The release files: the Docker Compose file for a trial, the server jar for local development, and the Terraform provider.
The documentation on this site, which describes each release.

The Quickstart shows how to sign in to the registry and run a first install.

Third-party components¶

HelixIAM includes third-party open-source components (among them Spring, OpenSAML, BouncyCastle, the PostgreSQL JDBC driver and the Redis client libraries). They remain under their own licences; the notices are delivered with the release. Vendored fonts are not covered by the HelixIAM licence.
